The clinic is a group experience (multiple participants) at a lower price point. The private course offers 1-on-1 or small group instruction exclusively for your party. Both teach the same fundamental skills with AMGA-certified guides and all gear included.

No—Rock-About provides all climbing gear: harness, helmet, climbing shoes, ropes, and hardware. Just wear comfortable athletic clothing, bring water and sunscreen, and show up ready to climb.

The Beginner Rock Climbing Clinic runs approximately 5 hours, giving you time for instruction, multiple climbs, and social interaction with fellow participants. It's a full half-day outdoor experience.

Clinic requires 3 or more participants to make. If the minimum requirement is not met by 24 hours before the clinic starts, you will be informed of the cancellation and refunded.

Customers may cancel or reschedule their booking for a full refund, in the case of a cancellation, with at least 72 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 72 hours of the booking are not eligible for a refund.

Customers will be notified to reschedule in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If the customer cannot reschedule, they will be refunded. Contact us by email to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
