No prior experience needed! Rock-About's Canyoneering & Rappelling Adventure is designed for complete beginners. Our AMGA-certified guides teach you everything—rappelling technique, body positioning, rope management, and safety systems. All gear is provided.

Yes! Kids ages 8+ can participate with a parent or guardian. Our guides are specially trained to work with younger participants, and we adjust the experience to each child's comfort level. It's an unforgettable family adventure.

Wear comfortable athletic clothing and closed-toe shoes with good traction (hiking boots or trail runners). Bring water, sunscreen, a hat, and snacks. Rock-About provides all technical gear—harnesses, helmets, ropes, and hardware.

Rappelling is descending a cliff face using a rope and friction device. Canyoneering combines rappelling with canyon exploration—hiking through narrow passages, scrambling over boulders, and navigating natural terrain. Rock-About's adventure combines both for a full experience.

Customers may cancel or reschedule their booking for a full refund, in the case of a cancellation, with at least 72 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 72 hours of the booking are not eligible for a refund.

Customers will be notified to reschedule in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If the customer cannot reschedule, they will be refunded. Contact us by email to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
