Since 2001, Rock-About has been offering top-quality climbing and rappelling programs tailored specifically for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Trail Life Scouts, helping them achieve their climbing goals while fostering teamwork, leadership, and personal growth.

We offer two unique program options to meet the needs of your group:

1. Climbing Day Focused on Fun: A thrilling, high-energy day focused on climbing, rappelling, and teamwork, perfect for Scouts looking to enjoy an exciting outdoor adventure.
2. Merit Badge Day:  A structured program led by an on-site merit badge counselor, ensuring Scouts complete all necessary requirements to earn their climbing merit badge.

With AMGA-certified guides, high-quality gear, and a strong focus on safety, your troop will experience an exciting, educational, and confidence-building climbing day at Enchanted Rock, Reimer’s Ranch, Mineral Wells State Park, or the Austin Greenbelt. Whether you’re aiming to complete badge requirements or just enjoy a day of climbing fun, we have the perfect program for your Scouts!

Details:

• Can choose to be a climbing day focused on fun or Merit Badge day, Girl Scouts, Scouts, or Trail Life Scouts.
• We can handle large groups with AMGA certified staff and quality gear.
• Most group programs take most of the day, be prepared with packable lunch and water.
• We provide all climbing gear with our fee.
• 10 percent deposit is required to schedule, the number is an assumption. We require the confirmation number 7 days in advance and we charge for that number on the credit card on file once receive the confirmation number.

• Discount codes are not applicable for this item, It is already significantly discounted.
• When booking, please do not just choose the minimum possible amount. Please guess as close as you can to the number that you will have. We use this number for strategic planning our staff and bookings we take. If you book 10 and end up with 30 this may not be possible if we have other bookings and don’t have the needed staff available for the difference in group size. Same for over guessing your group size as we will stop taking business if our availability is too low. So if you book 30 and you confirm for 10 then this is damaging to our business because we could have booked 20 other participants elsewhere.
